Sub : Revised Date for Collection of Stamp Duty on CBRICS Platform
This is with reference to Exchange notice dated 08/01/2020 regarding collection of Stamp duty.
Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) vide notifications dated January 8, 2020, has substituted the date of the applicability of the provisions with respect to the collection of the stamp duty by Stock Exchanges or Clearing Corporations authorized by Stock Exchanges from January 9, 2020 to April 1, 2020.
In this regards, Exchange notice dated 08/01/2020 regarding collection of stamp duty will be applicable from trade date April 1, 2020.
