Re: Submission of copy of KYC etc., for trades under XC, XD, XT & Z groups of BSE Capital Market Segment


Further to Exchange’s notice dated 27th March, 2017 regarding revision of turnover charges, Trading Members of the Exchange are hereby informed that the requirement of submission of KYC and Bank Statement of clients for their trading in scrips under XC, XD, XT& Z groups of BSE Capital Market Segment is partially modified on the basis of the concerns expressed by some trading members of the Exchange.  Accordingly, all trading members of the Exchange are required to submit a copy of the KYC of the Clients who have traded in the above scrips either in hard copy or in soft copy to the Surveillance Department of the Exchange within 5.00 P.M. of the Trade Day.  The soft copy of the KYC documents may be submitted through email at


Members are also requested to note that the Bank Statement of the Client would be required to be submitted in case of any investigation by either CSE and/or BSE and/or SEBI and/or any authority, within three days from the date of the requirement.  Accordingly, before executing trades in these scrips groups of BSE, trading members are directed to inform their clients that in case of any investigation, trading in these scrip groups may call for their Bank Statements.  Any deviation/non-compliance with regard to submission of KYC on the trade day and Bank Statement within three days from the date of specific requirement would attract a penalty of Rs. 2,000/- per day as envisaged in the Notice dated 27th March 2017.
