Disposal of E-Waste at CSE


All electronic and IT scrap components may contain contaminants such as lead, cadmium, beryllium, or brominated flame retardants which gives rise to several health problems and is also a security risk. The more technological dependent we are becoming, the more we are producing e-waste. The used computer parts, used mobile parts and used parts of every other electronic device are polluting the environment because you and we are not careful about dumping it properly. There are technologies for recycling and safe disposal of the e-waste to save the environment from our e-waste so that we can keep this dear planet habitable for our future generation.


Accordingly, to associate in this “GREEN EARTH” program, CSE has entered into an agreement with E-Waste Recyclers India, New Delhi (www.ewri.in) an authorize e-waste recycler certified by Pollution control Board under ISO 9001:2008 & ISO 14001:2004 norm for lifting, disposing, refurbishing and recycling of Electronic and IT waste under environment friendly manner and keeping data safety norms on priority. In this regard, their authorized person will come to our CSE premises to collect our old IT/ Electronic assets/ Consumables, which has been identified for disposal on 1st August 2014 (Friday).


All Tenants of The Calcutta Stock Exchange Ltd buildings at 7, Lyons Range, Kolkata-700001 interested are hereby requested if they want to dispose similar e-waste items as mentioned above may contact Mr. Kartik Dutta, Executive (Real Estate and Premises) Mobile No. 98369 00214 at least 2 days prior to the aforesaid lifting date.
