Re: Critical Order Value and Valuation of members security deposits

 

 

  1. Critical Order Value

 

Based on SEBI directive and as  a risk containment measure, the Exchange authorities have decided to reduce the Critical Order Value from Rs. 10,00,000/- to Rs. 5,00,000/-.  This change in Critical Order Value would be applicable w.e.f. 4th November 2011.  Hence, a single order for value over and above Rs. 5,00,000/- would not be accepted in the On-line Trading System of the Exchange (C-Star). 

All Trading Members participating in trading in C-Star are requested to take note of the change in the maximum order value.

 

  1. Valuation of Securities (shares) for margin limit in the C-Star Trading System

 

As per SEBI Circular Ref No. MRD/DoP/SE/Cir-6/2006, the valuation of securities available with the Exchange towards ABMC/Margin Limit in C-Star would be valued five times in a day at the current market price and applicable VaR.  This would be applicable w.e.f. 11th November 2011.

Trading Members are advised to take note of the change in valuation of securities and place order accordingly in the C-Star Trading System of the Exchange.
