NOTICE

Members are hereby informed that the whole time member of SEBI vide his order dated 15^th March 2007, in exercise of his powers under section 19 of SEBI Act, 1992 read with Regulation 13(4) of SEBI (Procedure for Holding Enquiry by Enquiry Officer and Imposing Penalty) Regulations 2002, had issued an order imposing a minor penalty of suspension of the certificate of registration of Shri Shankar Lal Chokhany (Kashi Prasad Chokhany) bearing SEBI Registration No. INB 030036811, Member, Calcutta Stock Exchange Association Ltd. (Business Code: 149) for a period of 7(seven) days with effect from 9^th April 2007 to the end of business hours of 17^th April 2007.

Accordingly, M/s Shankar Lal Chokhany shall be under suspension from 9^th April 2007.
