Members are aware that pursuant to the judgement of the Hon’ble Supreme Court SEBI had issued one Circular on 28^th March 2002 clarifying various issues relating to fees payable to SEBI by stock brokers.  Further the Exchange had raised certain issues involving methodology of computation of turnover for the purpose of calculation of SEBI fees based on turnover.

Members are hereby informed that now, SEBI vide its Circular No.   SMD/POLICY/Cir-25/19058/2002 dated 30-9-02 had further clarified certain  issues involving methodology of computation for purpose of levy of turnover fees and also revised the format of auditors certificate to be furnished by the members to the Exchange for certification and onward submission to SEBI.

The detailed SEBI circular dated 30-9-02 shall be available in the Official Quotation of the Exchange on Monday, 7^th October 2002 and shall also be available in the official web site of the Exchange i.e. “cse-india.com”.

Members are advised to refer SEBI circular dated 30-9-02 together with circular dated 28-3-02 and arrange to forward the turnover details in the prescribed format to the Exchange for onward reporting to SEBI.
