Re: List of approved securities for calculation of Base Minimum Capital , Additional Base Minimum Capital and Margin in members account.

Further to the Notice of the Exchange dated 30^th June 2003 regarding composition of Capital and Margins issued on the basis of SEBI Circular Ref No. SEBI/SMD/SE/Cir-22/2003/11/06, dated 11^th June 2003, members are hereby informed that the securities classified in the Group 1 at BSE / NSE in accordance with the parameters of volatility and liquidity as prescribed by SEBI shall be accepted for Base Minimum Capital and Additional Base Minimum Capital.

The list of such acceptable securities for Base Minimum Capital and Additional Base Minimum Capital are enclosed.(**). Members may also note that the list is applicable with effect from 10^th September 2003 till 31^st December 2003. The Exchange shall update the list in the month of December 2003 on the basis of the Group 1 securities of November 2003.

Members are further informed that the securities which are not included in the list shall not be considered for calculation of Base Minimum Capital or Additional Base Minimum Capital .
